Abstract

Traditional Chinese medicine constitution (TCMC), as one of the most important parts of Chinese medicine theory, attracted the attention of more and more researchers and many research projects were conducted during past several decades in mainland China. This review provided a historic overview of TCMC theory and research progress in its classification, evaluation criteria and epidemiology, so as to give people through a different lens to understand human health.
