With the deepening of scientific research and the increasing of interdisciplinary crossover, laboratory safety education faces many problems such as diversified personnel disciplinary backgrounds, inconsistent basic level, curriculum to be optimized, and professionalism and systematicity of teaching implementation to be strengthened. This paper proposes the construction and implementation of a set of laboratory safety curriculum system that adapts to the needs of interdisciplinary development. Firstly, from the theoretical and practical perspectives, the construction concept and key contents of the laboratory safety course system adapted to the development of cross-disciplinary development are analyzed in depth, including the educational concept, teaching objectives, curriculum, organization and implementation, and evaluation of the effect of various aspects. Then, taking the practice of laboratory safety education in a university as an example to analyze the specific method of constructing the laboratory safety MOOC that adapts to the cross-disciplinary needs of electrical and chemical, biological and other disciplines. Finally, discussing the strategy of laboratory safety education access implementation in the light of students’ development needs and talent cultivation programs. By exploring the theory and practice of laboratory safety education, it is hoped to provide new ideas and strategies for improving the level and effectiveness of laboratory safety education in colleges and universities.
