Qiaomin Chen, currently is director of the Nanjing Institute of Agricultural Mechanization, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, deputy secretary of the party committee, second-level researcher, and master tutor. He concurrently serves as the vice president of the China Agricultural Mechanization Association, the vice president of the China Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufact and the chairman of the Rotary Tiller Branch. He has been engaged in the research and development of agricultural engineering technology and equipment for a long time, focusing on harvesting machinery for economic crop, process equipment for machinery industry, etc. He is the director of the edible soybean mechanization research office of the national modern agricultural industrial technology system and an expert in harvesting mechanization. He has presided over more than 20 national or provincial projects/subjects, published more than 50 academic papers, authorized more than 30 patents, registered more than 10 software copyrights, and won 7 provincial and ministerial awards. He was rated as a young scientific and technological pacesetter in Jiangsu Province, selected as the leader of cross-century scientific and technological development and technology promotion in the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the training object of the "333 Project" (third level) of Jiangsu Province, and he has been awarded the title of "Nanjing New Long March Assaulter".
