For clinical trials involving human subjects, the author should indicate whether the procedures followed comply with the ethical standards established by the committee responsible for human trials (institutional, regional or national), provide the committee's approval number, and indicate whether informed consent was obtained from the subject or his/her relatives. Patients should read the published manuscript before signing the informed consent certificate. Identification information should be omitted if it is not necessary.
If an article is about a project funded by national or provincial funds or research projects, the official names of the fund projects should be listed in both Chinese and English on the first page of the article, and the project number should be indicated. All those designated as authors should meet all four criteria for authorship, and all who meet the four criteria should be identified as authors. Each author should have participated sufficiently in the work to take public responsibility for appropriate portions of the content.
When a large, multicenter group has conducted the work, the group should identify the individuals who accept direct responsibility for the manuscript. These individuals should fully meet the criteria for authorship.
