Drug delivery plays a significant role in achieving spatiotemporal transportation of therapeutics for precise and efficient clinical disease treatment, sometimes even equally important with carried drugs. On the path of pursuing highly promising therapeutics, nanotechnology embraces a bright future by enabling drugs with controllable physical properties, release behavior, biocompatibility or other chemical/biological features, which are usually essential for precision therapeutics. In view of this, this collection includes the latest nanoscience and nanotechnology-related research, reviews, or opinions devoted to intelligent drug delivery. Potential applicable topics in this area are also within the acceptable scope.

Topics:

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Construction of novel nanomedicine delivery systems, such as those based on liposome nanoparticles, polymer nanoparticles/nanomicelles, etc;
  • Design and development of targeted nanomedicine delivery system;
  • Study on the in vivo process of nanomedicine delivery;
  • Research on improving and optimizing the delivery efficiency of nanodrugs;
  • Research on safety assessment of nanodrug delivery.
