During November 8–10th, 2024, the "DILSCM 2024" International Academic Conference, jointly hosted by Guangdong Operations Research Society, Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Logistics and Supply Chain Innovation Alliance, and Guangdong Operations Research Society Logistics Branch, and organized by Shenzhen City Vocational College, was grandly held at Shenzhen City Vocational College. The theme of this conference is "Smart Supply Chain Helps the Development of New Quality Productivity", aiming to explore the latest research results, technological developments, and application practices of smart logistics, and promote innovation and development in the field of supply chain management.

During the meeting, Professor Shufeng Wang, Vice Chairman of Guangdong Operations Research Society and President of Logistics Branch, Professor Zhi Xu, Chairman of Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Logistics and Supply Chain Innovation Alliance, and Xiaojun Liu, Dean of Shenzhen City Vocational College Business School, accepted media interviews to strengthen integration with well-known universities, research institutions, and enterprises at home and abroad, and established a DILSCM talent training base. Measures and plans have been proposed to establish cross regional collaboration mechanisms, promote mutual recognition of standards and resource sharing.

In the afternoon of November 10th, Professor Bing-Yuan Cao, the founding president of Guangdong Operations Research Society and editor-in-chief of Fuzzy Information and Engineering, attended the event as a doctoral supervisor and briefly introduced the news of the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Modeling Competition in Chongqing at the end of the year. In the evening, the international academic conference came to a successful conclusion after the award ceremony.
