Overview

  • Oral Science and Homeostatic Medicine aims to elucidate the latest advancements, innovations, strategies, and techniques in oral science and homeostatic medicine. The journal is dedicated to examining a wide range of interactions between oral conditions and various fields within homeostatic medicine, including metabolic stability, tumor dynamics, immune response, bone health, and strategies for anti-aging and regeneration. The scope of the journal focuses on: (1) oral science and (2) homeostatic medicine.

The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, perspectives, letters, commentary, and case reports that explore a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
    1. Oral science

    • Craniofacial development and regeneration
    • Advances in oral microbiota research and its impact on local and systemic health
    • Advances in multifunctional oral biomaterials integrating nanotechnology, stimuli responsive and AI-driven designs
    • Dental stem cells and regenerative medicine techniques relevant to oral health and overall health

    2. Homeostatic medicine

    • Molecular and cellular homeostasis regulation mechanisms
    • The roles of amino acid metabolism, epigenetic modifications, and post-translational protein modifications in maintaining cellular homeostasis
    • Systemic homeostasis and disease: Focusing on the regulatory mechanisms of homeostasis in the skeletal, immune, nervous, cardiovascular, and endocrine systems
    • The role of oral health in metabolic stability, tumor dynamics, immune response, and bone health
    • Innovations that promote anti-aging and longevity
    • Translational research integrating oral science and systemic homeostasis for precision medicine approaches

Through the promotion of high-quality research and interdisciplinary collaboration, Oral Science and Homeostatic Medicine aims to advance our understanding of how oral health is integral to overall well-being, ultimately striving to enhance health outcomes for individuals and communities worldwide.
