1 Submission website

In order to facilitate the submission of authors and reduce the loss of paper during the submission process by email, Blasting has launched a professional website integrating submission, review, editing and publishing, which can also shorten the review cycle, and authors can track the process of manuscripts in real time.

Submission Process:

Click http://www.chinablasting.com (official website) to enter the Chinese and English websites, respectively. You can also directly submit your manuscript through the Chinese website http://bopo.cbpt.cnki.net .

After the paper is submitted, the author can login the official website at any time to check the status of the manuscript.

After the review process, the review comments will be fed back to the author, which can be seen in the official website. Then the author can revise the content and format of the paper according to the requirements.

2 Submission Agreements

Authors should register on the website of Blasting (www.chinablasting.com) and submit their articles. The editorial office will conduct a preliminary review of the manuscripts, which will be formally peer reviewed after passing the preliminary review.

The editorial office will appointment external experts to objectively review the manuscripts in accordance with the standardized review procedures, and make decisions of the manuscripts fairly and impartially based on the review opinions. Priority will be given to the manuscripts of cutting-edge and innovative topics.

Please do not submit one manuscript to multiple journals at the same time. Within 3 months from the date of receipt, the review procedure can generally be completed, and the author can send an E-mail or call (027) 87654177 for inquiry during the review period.

The editorial department owns the copyright of the online version and CD-ROM version of the manuscripts, and has the right to modify the manuscripts appropriately. If there is a big change, it will be discussed with the author. If you do not agree, please declare in advance.

The manuscript should highlight the author's own new arguments and new achievements. It is required for a paper to be written with a novel topic, rigorous logic, clear point of view, credible data, concise text and illustrations. There is no limit on the length of a paper.

The author should indicate the following information in the paper: gender, date of birth, contact number, E-mail address, detailed mailing address, zip code, work institution (if the author works in a large institution, the second-level institution should also be indicated), title, position, main research area, project background, product awards and patent certificates, etc.

3 Scope

Blasting mainly reports the basic research of blasting science and technology at home and abroad and the development and utilization of blasting related technologies, involving mining, water conservancy, electric power, railways, highways, construction, geology, petrochemical, military and other industries, as well as safety management, blasting equipment and equipment application, etc. Selected articles related to the development of blasting science and technology at home and abroad will also be considered for publication.

4 Main columns

At present, there are 8 columns: Forum of Experts, Theory and Technology Exploration, Theoretical Research, Rock Blasting, Demolition Blasting, Special Blasting, Blasting Equipment, Safety and Management. At the same time, different special issues and columns will be set up according to cutting edges of blasting theory and technology. Please pay attention to the website of this journal at any time.

5 Manuscript requirements

(1) Please write the paper in accordance with GB/T 7713-1987 Presentation of scientific and technical reports,dissertations and scientific papers”. And the manuscript should be submitted by Microsoft Word document format, or by PDF format to prevent formatting errors. In order to facilitate the review by the experts, the submitted papers should not be arranged in columns.

(2) The Chinese title generally consists of no more than 20 Chinese characters. The English title should preferably consist of nouns or noun phrases with no more than 10 content words.

(3) The manuscript should include the exact full names of the working institution in Chinese and English of all authors, and the detailed contact information of the corresponding author. Write the contact information of the first author if there is no corresponding author.

(4) The manuscript should include a brief introduction of the first author and corresponding author. The format is: name (year of birth—), gender, title, degree, research direction, e-mail address.

(5) The papers supported by fundings and projects should be marked with “*” in the upper right corner of the title. The name and number of the funding or project should be indicated in the footer of the first page.

(6) The abstract writing should follow the principle of "purpose, method, result, conclusion", the number of words of the Chinese abstract should be more than 400, and that of the English abstract is generally 200-400.

(7) There should be 5-8 Chinese and English keywords written by nouns or noun phrases that can accurately reflect the topic of the article.

(8) Try to avoid self-describing language, self-evaluative language, and words such as "this article" and "the author".

(9) There should be both Chinese and English titles for all figures.

(10) Please use the three-line table format in the text. The values in the table should be of the same decimal digits.

(11) The symbols of formulas in the text should be written by italics except superscripts and subscripts.

(12) SI units should be used, rather than Chinese units.

(13) Arabic numerals should be used as much as possible, except where there is a rhetorical meaning.

(14) There should be no less than 15 references. The corresponding English name of a Chinese reference should be written on a separate line.

(15) References should be marked by the “Citation-Order System”, namely, the Vancouver system. The format of the reference should be written according to the national standard “Bibliographic references and source identifiers for terminology work” (GB/T 23289-2009).

6 Manuscript processing fees

After the manuscript is accepted, the author will be charged a processing fee of 3800 yuan per article. After publication, 5 copies of the journal including the published paper as well as a bound copy of the year will be sent to the author. The payment of the publishing fee should be finished according to the email notification.

7 Subscription purchase channels for print publications

The magazine can be subscribed at post offices all over the country. The domestic mailing code is: 38-425. The prices per copy and per year are RMB 20 (domestic) and RMB 80 (domestic), respectively.
