Overview
The Aims
The journal of Lifeline Emergency and Safety serves as an internationally pioneering platform for theoretical research and applied technology in the field of lifeline and infrastructure engineering. It addresses the safety risks and emergency technologies with a particular focus on the urban society and its relevant lifeline facilities, aiming to enhance the safe operation capacity under multiple hazards, adverse environment, and complex working conditions. The lifeline and infrastructure engineering are an emerging interface area characterized by the advanced intelligent technologies. The journal is expected to establish a theoretical framework on the disaster control and intelligent emergency system for the lifeline engineering project, developing a comprehensive intelligent monitoring system and high-performance facility for the disaster control and mitigation, and construct an integrated intelligent transport of information platform of disaster warning and safety maintenance.
The Scope
The topics covered by the Lifeline Emergency and Safety include, but are not limited to, the following topics:
The journal welcomes submissions in the form of original research paper across its whole scope, but also welcomes technical note, case study, review and discussion, communication, etc. We also welcome frequently proposed special issues edited by world leading researchers addressing any state-of-the-art topic in the lifeline engineering. Quality papers from both the academic research and the engineering practice are highly sought. All submitted works in the journal shall undergo rigorous single-blind peer review by experts in the subject field.
